Driving and texting is just one of the many distractions that technology brings into modern vehicles. Reading texts while you’re behind the wheel requires you to take your attention away from driving. Trying to then write a message will take your hands off of the steering wheel.

The consequences of driving while texting can be as severe as driving while under the influence. The liability of a motor vehicle accidents goes to the person proven to have caused it. Driving while texting can lead to death in severe cases.
